9:00 am Leave from Bangkok (Phra Arthit Rd) 10:30 am Arrive at the town of Ayutthaya, then visit Wat Yai Chaimongkol, feautring rows and rows of buddha statues surrounding the ancient pagoda, creating a scenerio of peacefulness and glory which led to it's title of "Chai Mongkol", which translates to "Auspicious Victory" 11:30 am Visit Wat Mahathat, a temple located in Ayutthaya Historical Park which feautures enshriened relics of Buddha in the center of the kingdom. Here, you can be in awe of the statue of the famous Buddha head, embedded in the vines of a pho tree, giving the place quite a mysterious and unique look and making it a major tourist attraction due to it's incredible feature. Here, toursits are even not allowed to take a picture with it while standing up due to it's holiness and magnificence. 1:00 pm Luch at a local famous Thai Restaurant 2:00 pm Embark at the Wat Phrasrisanphet, the holy temple loacated at the side of the old palace of Thailand's ancient capital of Ayutthaya, which in now destroyed during the war of the Siamese- Burmese war. From here, you can continue your journey to Phra VihanMongkol Bophit, one of the largest bronze buddha statues in Thailand. 3:00 pm Visit Wak Lokayasutharam, the temple featuring the reclining Buddha statue, set among centuries - old ruins, which is made of stones, an incredile feature for it's enormous size that suits the harmony and nirvana for the place. 3:30 pm Lastly, end the trip at Wat Phu Khao Thong which is a grand stupa located just outside of the city of Ayutthaya also known as the Golden Mount. Tourists can climb up the Chedi (BuddistTower) here and enjoy the view of the ancient Ayutthaya city and vast lands of rice paddy fields surrounding the institute. 4:30 pm From the temple after experiencing a day of ancient glourious Ayutthaya, Return for Bangkok.
